Watford Community
Welcome to the Watford Community page, part of the Link4Growth South West Herts District.

Watford is the largest town in the South West Herts District

Watford has a proud heritage of brewing and printing and is uniquely positioned a short train ride away from central London. Watford's popularity grew with its fabulous connectivity and benefited from all the major transport networks as the evolved. Watford is on the Grand Union canal, the mainline railway out of London, the London underground network, the M1 Motorway, and more recently, the M25. Watford has developed into a desirable place to live, proximity to London, a short cycle ride from the country and extensive facilities. Watford is also part of the thriving South West Herts community. Please visit the links below to find out about all aspects of the community of Watford.

Below you will find further links to Watford communities beyond those you can click on above, and also some links to people who might be able to help you or at least signpost you to things happening locally or services you might be looking for. SW Herts Link4BusinessWe are much stronger if we work together and collaborate. Even if we think we are competition we are still able to find ways a connection can work to our benefit. Link4Business is about building strong town business clubs, getting involved in community, accessing people we wouldn't normally meet (people not in business) and ... raising the profile of local businesses, "removing that cloak of invisibility" and extolling the benefits of buying local, more money stays local... "we're better together!" ... Find out more about Link4Business here.
Watford & Croxley Business ParkThe largest business park in Watford / Croxley and yet I'm guessing very few actually network actively. We can achieve much more if we have conversations.
Enterprise Rockers SW HertsEnterprise Rockers are a national organisation aimed at raising the awareness of how important our micro businesses are. A nationwide organisation, Link4Growth has set up a community in each district for Enterprise Rockers. Now they can connect with those who are local to them and... go meet them at #L4G events. A great opportunity for Enterprise Rockers to meet other locals in our community and expand their network.
